Choosing where to continue an education is easy decision for some, but for others it involves a trip halfway around the world to pursue both athletics and academics.

Junior Aaron Booth, member of the track and field team, and sophomore Maria Linares, member of the tennis team, sat down to talk about their stories and what it has meant to be an athlete at K-State and how it is different than their lives back home. Arin Dunn, director of student-athlete development, also talked about what it takes to support these students and what K-State Athletics has done to make them feel welcome at K-State.
