Health and wellness are important, but sometimes college students forget what it takes to purse that goal. Proper nutrition, physical activity, stress relief and quality of adequate sleep are all essential to thrive. While as an undergrad, Jayna Ukrazhenko made it her responsibility to participate in group fitness classes, which led to her continuous cycle of excitement and passion about fitness and health.
College can be an exciting time, but it can also be very challenging. It’s important for students to take care of their mind and body in order to make college a more fulfilling experience. Though it may be easy to think college students can function with less sleep because “they’re young,” with proper sleep, they can turn those ZZZs into As.
