After growing up side by side in Jamaica, the McKenzie twins knew they wanted to stay together after high school and attend the same university.
K-State Track and Field gave them that opportunity, bringing Ranae in as a sprinter and Shanae as a jumper.
Ranae McKenzie, senior in nutrition and kinesiology, is wrapping up her last season of eligibility and looking to defend her Big 12 Conference outdoor 400m hurdles title from last year. She is also looking forward to competing the NCAA tournament and attending the senior trials in Jamaica.
Shanae McKenzie, senior in nutrition and kinesiology, is still eligible for one last season of indoor track, but is also working hard for post-season success this spring.
