
As the 2019-2020 school year is kicks off, here’s what is on the schedule for Kansas State sports this week.
Soccer
After a 4-12-2 record during the 2018-2019 season, the soccer team will play its third game of the season. The team will play against Arkansas State on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Buser Family Park. This game can be seen on ESPN +. The Wildcats, currently 0-1-1 on the season, are coming off a draw against Omaha, and they will be searching for their first win in 13 games, dating back to last season.
Volleyball
Finishing the 2018-2019 season at 15-12, the volleyball team begins this season with a a busy week as they head to Raleigh, North Carolina to compete in a three-match Wolfpack Invitational. The first match will be on Friday against the North Carolina State Wolfpack, and then on Saturday a double header features Austin Peay State in the first matchup and University of Maryland in the second.
Football
The football team will kickoff off the Chris Klieman era with a match up against Nicholls University. This game will kickoff on Saturday at 6 p.m. at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. Fans can watch it on ESPN+ or on the K-State Sports Network. The Wildcats will be looking to get their season started strong with a victory and to get back on track to return to a bowl game after falling short last season. Prior to last year’s 5-7 record, the team played in eight bowl games in 10 years.
