Fort Riley hosts a semi-annual yard sale where Manhattan, Junction City and others neighboring the community are invited to shop around. The rain didn’t keep the people away as sales popped up all over the neighborhoods and commissary parking lot. “I think everybody has something to contribute that comes, especially during rainy times,” said Betsy Dudley, a Mary Kay ambassador. People from all over the Junction City and Manhattan areas are free to join at the next sale in the spring of 2020.
