Flu vaccines available Wednesday in Union

Flu season is just about here and the Kansas State community can protect themselves from getting sick with a visit to Lafene Health Center’s walk-in flu vaccine clinic.

Staff will be on hand in the K-State Student Union Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to administer flu vaccines.

Students, faculty and staff can also stop by Lafene between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. as well as 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to receive their flu shot. No appointment is necessary, but patients should bring their K-State ID and insurance information.

Lafene accepts most insurance, but if your insurance isn’t accepted, the cost is $22 for students and $25 for faculty and staff.

Dec. 6 is the clinic’s last day.
