TAKE A LOOK: COVID-19 in Riley County by the numbers on May 26

The Riley County Health Department reported two new positive cases of COVID-19 today, bringing the local total to 63. Additionally, 54 of those who previously tested positive are considered to be recovered.

One of the newest positive cases is presenting in a 23-year-old female. The other is in an unrelated female who is 72 years old. How they contracted the virus is uncertain as “disease investigation is ongoing,” a press release said.

Riley County has documented one COVID-19-related death.

At this time, there have been 911 negative tests administered in the county, and 121 tests are pending. One person is being monitored for possible exposure.
