TAKE A LOOK: COVID-19 in Riley County by the numbers on May 27

The Riley County Health Department reported one new positive case of COVID-19 today, bringing the local total to 64. Additionally, 55 of those who previously tested positive are considered to be recovered.

The newest positive case is presenting in a 52-year-old male. How he contracted the virus is uncertain as “the health department is currently conducting disease investigation,” a press release said.

Riley County has documented one COVID-19-related death.

At this time, there have been 923 negative tests administered in the county, and 139 tests are pending. One person is being monitored for possible exposure.
