The Riley County Health Department reported 112 new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend, bringing the local total to 922.
Since Aug. 17 — the first day of classes at Kansas State — the county has added at least 400 new cases of COVID-19.

Additionally, 394 of those who previously tested positive are considered recovered, leaving 523 active cases in the county. Riley County has documented five COVID-19-related deaths.
At this time, there have been 6,824 negative tests administered in the county and 165 tests are pending.
