K-State’s soccer match against TCU on Friday evening has been postponed.
“In accordance with Big 12 Conference soccer match interruption guidelines, the K-State-TCU match scheduled for Friday has been postponed,” K-State Athletics press release said. “The Conference will work with the two programs to reschedule the match for later in the season.”
This is the second game this season that has been postponed for the Wildcats. K-State’s season opener against Texas Tech was originally postponed due to two Red Raiders testing positive for COVID-19 and seven additional players being listed as close contacts.
So far this season, K-State has still been able to play in two matches — losing both to Oklahoma State, 3-0, and West Virginia, 4-1.
The Wildcats’ next contest will be played against Kansas in the Sunflower Showdown on Oct. 2 at Buser Family Park.
