Commencement ceremonies for spring, summer and fall 2020 Kansas State graduates are rescheduled for the weekend of Nov. 20.

In Wednesday’s K-State Today, Provost Charles Taber said moving the ceremonies up will serve to reduce the health risk posed to those who plan to attend.

Commencement ceremonies were previously scheduled for the following week, but Taber said hosting the events over a weekend may make it easier for families and friends of graduates to attend.

Safety measures for the events are not set in stone, Taber said. More information about commencement and the precautions at the ceremonies will be announced later.

Commencement ceremonies for the Manhattan campus are on Friday, Nov. 20, Saturday, Nov. 21 and Sunday, Nov. 22 in Bramlage Coliseum.

The Polytechnic campus commencement is on Friday, Nov. 20 at the Student Life Center in Salina.

The full schedule of ceremonies is available on the commencement website. Livestream coverage of all commencement ceremonies will also be available on the website.
