The Kansas State tennis team added four more singles victories on Sunday to push their weekend win total to 13 — tying a team record for a home tournament.

Juniors Maria Linares, Karine-Marion Job, Ioana Gheorghita and freshman Manami Ukita capped off the victories Sunday afternoon.

Ukita took down Iowa State freshman Christen Hsieh 6-3, 6-0 to get the day rolling for the Wildcats. Linares then followed with a victory over Iowa State freshman Chie Kezuka, defeating her 6-2, 6-3.

Job continued the success for K-State, defeating Iowa State freshman Ellie Murphy 6-4, 6-3. Gheorghita then finished things off for the Wildcats with a big victory over Iowa State senior Maty Cancini, defeating her 7-6, 6-3.

After the weekend’s success, the Wildcats look ahead to the Big 12 Fall Individuals in Stillwater Oklahoma, competing from Nov. 6 to Nov. 8.
