The Associated Press called the 1st Congressional District race in Kansas, and Republican Tracey Mann took the win over Democrat Kali Barnett.

Mann earned the U.S. House seat with 71 percent of the vote and 1,242 of 1,361 precincts reporting.

The “Big First” makes up over half of Kansas and is a historically red district. A Democrat only held the seat once and has never been held by a woman.

Mann will replace current Republican Rep. Roger Marshall.
