The annual Farmageddon game is here this week as the football team travels to Ames, Iowa, to play No. 17 Iowa State Cyclones at 3 p.m.

The Wildcats (4-3) come off of their third and final bye week of the season going into their matchup with Iowa State. Before the bye week, K-State fell in a 20-18 nail-biter with Oklahoma State.

K-State set the tone well in the first half of the game with the Cowboys, leading 12-0 at halftime. But in the third quarter, the team struggled to score and had issues slowing down Oklahoma State’s newfound offense, resulting in a loss that was hard to swallow.

Iowa State (5-2) leads the Big 12 and is well-rested coming into Saturday’s game off of a bye week as well. The Cyclones edged out Baylor in their last contest 38-31 and average 33 points per game this season.

The game is available at 3 p.m. on FOX and the K-State Sports Network.

The tenth ranked volleyball team heads into the week with a top 10 matchup on the horizon with the No. 3 Baylor Bears. The teams will battle twice in Waco, Texas, at 5 p.m. on Friday and 2 p.m. on Saturday.

K-State (10-4) comes in with its most league wins and its first top three finish in the Big 12 since 2008. The volleyball team has shown tremendous strides this season, initially picked to finish eighth in the Big 12 at the start of the season.

K-State won seven of their last eight contests, and when matches go the distance, the Wildcats are money, securing their last four five-set matches. The team is 6-2 on the season in five-set matches.

The Bears (11-3) come into Friday’s contest ranked third in the country and look to rebound after two close losses to No. 1 Texas.

Both of those matches are live on Big 12 Now on ESPN+ and KMAN radio.
