TAKE A LOOK: COVID-19 in Riley County by the numbers on Dec. 4

The Riley County Health Department reported 125 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the local total to 3,905.

People 18 to 24-years-old make up about 57 percent of all positive cases recorded locally — about 2,200 unique cases.

In all, 3,501 people who previously tested positive for COVID-19 in Riley County are recovered, leaving 388 active cases.

There are 10 positive patients currently hospitalized at Ascension Via Christi in Manhattan.

In all, 16 individuals have died from COVID-19 related complications in Riley County.

The county two-week positivity rate is 16 percent. The most recent report from Kansas State showed an on-campus positivity rate below five percent.
