For 24 hours, a Twitter poll asked students what their plans are for the winter break.

As part of Kansas State’s COVID-19 plan, winter break began earlier than the original academic calendar planned for and students won’t return to campus until Jan. 25.

Of the 84 respondents, 53.6 percent said they plan to return home. About 33 percent said they’ll be staying in Manhattan. An additional six percent said they plan to go “somewhere else.”

The remaining participants — 7.1 percent — said they’re unsure about their plans for the break.
