TAKE A LOOK: COVID-19 in Riley County by the numbers on Feb. 3

The Riley County Health Department reported 23 new cases of COVID-19 and 18 recoveries on Wednesday, bringing the local total to 238 active cases.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, there has been 6,025 cases in Riley County. Of those cases, 5,756 recovered.

There have been 31 deaths in the county. The most recent death was announced on Feb. 1. The patient was a 76-year-old man who died Jan. 31.

Five individuals are hospitalized at Ascension Via Christi hospital in Manhattan. Of those patients, one is in intensive care.

On campus, the positivity rate is 3.36 percent. Riley County sits at 5.2 percent.
