The Riley County Health Department reported 15 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the local total to 6,040 cases. Of those cases, 252 are active.
The health department also announced one additional recovery since Wednesday, bringing the total recoveries to 5,757.
At Ascension Via Christi hospital in Manhattan, seven individuals are hospitalized, one of whom is in intensive care.
Additionally, 4,932 vaccines have been administered by Riley County Health Department to date.
Of the total positive cases in Riley County, 46 percent are in individuals aged 18-24.
