TAKE A LOOK: COVID-19 in Riley County by the numbers on Feb. 8

The Riley County Health Department reported 23 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, bringing the local total to 6,063 cases. Of those cases, 186 are active.

The health department also announced 89 additional recoveries since Friday, bringing the total recoveries to 5,846.

Five individuals are hospitalized at Ascension Via Christi hospital in Manhattan. Of those patients, three are in intensive care.

There will be a mobile testing site outside Manhattan Town Center, next to Texas Roadhouse on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon. The testing is free, and no appointment is necessary.
