TAKE A LOOK: COVID-19 in Riley County by the numbers on Feb. 10

On Wednesday, the Riley County Health Department announced a 76-year-old man died from COVID-19 related illness. This is the 32nd death in Riley County.

He tested positive for COVID on Jan. 4 and died on Feb. 9 at Via Christi Village.

Additionally, the health department announced 17 new positive cases and 21 recoveries since Monday. There are 181 active cases in Riley County.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Riley County has had 6,080 cases and 5,867 recoveries.

There are currently four patients hospitalized at Ascension Via Christi hospital in Manhattan, three of whom are in intensive care.

Riley County has a 4.8 percent positivity rate for the week of Jan. 31 to Feb. 6. On campus, there is a 6.6 positivity rate for the week of Feb. 1.
