TAKE A LOOK: COVID-19 in Riley County by the numbers on Feb. 12

The Riley County Health Department reported 35 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the local total to 6,115 positive cases. Of those cases, 213 are active.

The health department also announced three additional recoveries since Wednesday, bringing the total recoveries to 5,870.

At Ascension Via Christi hospital in Manhattan, three individuals are hospitalized, two of whom are in intensive care.

Additionally, 5,858 vaccines have been administered by Riley County Health Department to date. The health department began administering second doses to individuals who received vaccines in phase one.

Of the total positive cases in Riley County, 46 percent are in individuals aged 18-24.
