K-State campuses closed through Feb. 16, in-person, remote classes canceled

Kansas State’s Manhattan, Olathe and Polytechnic campuses will close through Tuesday, Feb. 16 because of power blackouts across Kansas. All in-person and remote classes are canceled beginning Monday at 5 p.m.

On-campus dining services for Manhattan and Polytechnic campuses have reduced hours, opening at 8 a.m. tomorrow and closing at 7 p.m.

Lafene Health Center will also close during the outages.

The K-State Police Department provided winter weather guidelines to explain the university’s inclement weather procedure and policies. They encourage people to not travel and monitor their personal safety
