This afternoon, the Peters Recreation Complex staff evacuated the building for some broken fire sprinkler pipes.

The reason the pipes broke is unknown at this time, Kansas State public information officer Michelle Geering said in an email. No one was injured.

The Rec will reopen at 3 p.m. today, Feb. 17.
