TAKE A LOOK: COVID-19 in Riley County by the numbers on Feb.22

The Riley County Health Department reported 10 new cases of COVID-19 and 13 additional recoveries on Feb 22, bringing the total of active cases to 134.

There are two individuals hospitalized for COVID-19 at Ascension Via Christi hospital in Manhattan, one of whom is in intensive care.

On Friday, RCHD announced a 76-year-old woman died from COVID-19 related illness. Hers is the 33rd death in Riley County.

Riley County has have 6,168 total cases of COVID-19 and 6,001 recoveries.

The health department will continue to vaccinate those in phase two of the vaccine distribution plan this week and hopes to start phase three in early March.
