TAKE A LOOK: COVID-19 in Riley County by the numbers on March 8

The Riley County Health Department reported 15 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, bringing the local total to 6,231 positive cases. Of those cases, 47 are active.

The health department also announced 43 additional recoveries since Friday, bringing the total recoveries to 6,151.

At Ascension Via Christi hospital in Manhattan, one individual is hospitalized.

Of the total positive cases in Riley County, 46 percent are in individuals aged 18-24.

Additionally, 4,344 people are fully vaccinated — have received two doses — and 5,628 have received one dose of the vaccine.
