TAKE A LOOK: COVID-19 in Riley County by the numbers on March 17

The Riley County Health Department announced 19 new positive cases of COVID-19 and 16 additional recoveries on March 17, bringing the total of active cases to 56 cases.

Riley County has reported 6,271 total cases of COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic as well as 6,180 recoveries. There have been 35 deaths in the county, with two announced on March 15.

Ascension Via Christi hospital in Manhattan is not currently caring for any positive patients.

On campus, Kansas State reports a positivity rate of 0.7 percent.
