Health department announces 27 new cases of COVID-19

The Riley County Health Department announced 27 new cases of COVID-19 on April 7, as well as 22 additional recoveries.

At this time, there are 28 active cases in Riley County. In total, there have been 6,342 positive cases of COVID-19 and 6,278 recoveries.

Ascension Via Christi hospital is caring for one person under investigation for COVID-19 at this time.

The Riley County positivity rate for March 28 to April 3 is 1.1 percent.

On campus, the positivity rate is 0.42 percent.

Over 10,000 people in Riley County are fully vaccinated by the health department.
