Health department announces one percent COVID-19 positivity rate

The Riley County Health Department announced 17 new positive COVID-19 cases in Riley County as well as 29 additional recoveries since April 14.

The county positivity rate for the week of April 11 was one percent. On campus, the positivity rate is just under one percent.

Currently, there are 28 active cases out of 6,387 total positive cases. There have been 6,323 total recoveries.

Currently, Ascension Via Christi hospital in Manhattan is caring for one COVID-19 positive patient.

The RCHD has completely vaccinated 14,712 people and 6,179 people have received their first dose of the vaccine.
