Over the past few days, I’ve been able to go around to coffee shops and try the taste of fall. I’ve tried numerous kinds of pumpkin spice lattes and each one has been pretty different from the other.

The first one I tried was a Starbucks pumpkin spice latte — a fall must-have when it comes to coffee. However, I haven’t had one in a few years, so I thought it was time to try it out again. For this latte, I decided to get it iced. I usually ask for no whipped cream on pretty much all of my drinks that I ever get, but I decided to go for the whole experience on this one.

This latte had all the pumpkin spice flavor a person could ask for. Everything was pretty spot on and exactly how I remembered it. Although it was almost too sweet for me, I really enjoyed this one. I would have to give Starbucks’ pumpkin spice latte four out of five pumpkins.

The next place that I went to was Radina’s, because who doesn’t love a good Radina’s latte? I was pretty excited for this one since it was one a lot of people told me to try. I decided to get this latte hot, only because I usually like my coffee iced. I didn’t get whipped cream on this one but was still excited to try it.

I was actually pretty surprised at the taste of this one. It barely had any pumpkin spice flavor but still had the latte taste to it. I decided to not just go off of the first sip and drank the rest of it, and it really wasn’t too bad. However, I do wish there had been more pumpkin spice flavor overall. I would have to give Radina’s pumpkin spice latte two out of five pumpkins.

The last one I decided to go try was Bluestem’s pumpkin spice latte. This one was highly suggested, and I was very excited to try it because I had never tried Bluestem’s coffee before.

I decided to get this one hot just to give the hot pumpkin spice latte a second chance, and I really enjoyed it. This one was definitely better than Radina’s, but still lacked more of the pumpkin spice flavor. That said, it was more enjoyable to finish. I would rate Bluestem’s latte three out of five pumpkins.

I loved trying the different tastes of fall. With a few midterms and project deadlines, this was definitely something to brighten up my day and week. Go get yourself a pumpkin spice latte — you deserve it!
