Robby’s Famous Cheesecakes is slicing up attention and enjoyment after recently opening in Aggieville.
Located between Globe Indian Cuisine and Rock-A-Belly Bar and Deli, the dessert shop has only been open since Sept. 23 and has already brought a lot of attention to Aggieville nightlife and students at Kansas State.
Robby’s was nicely kept both inside and out, and everything was very clean. In the cheesecake cooler, they have two different sections — the right side is switched out every two weeks with new and different flavors for everyone to try, whereas the left half keeps the same flavors for those who already know what they want right when they walk through the door.
There are a lot of stapled cheesecake flavors, such as original cheesecake and red velvet, but also many on the nontraditional side. For those with a ketogenic diet, they have an option for you as well, don’t worry!

The texture of the cheesecake was very light and fluffy — exactly what a cheesecake should look and taste like. Proportions were on point, as were the display of the cheesecakes. Everything about it was perfect, and the staff was kind and helpful when picking a flavor out.
The red velvet was an interesting flavor option to see at first, but it tasted exactly like a piece of red velvet cake. No disappointments here. The color was very vibrant, as were all the other cheesecakes surrounding it, creating a very artistic standpoint.
Although they haven’t been in the Little Apple for long, Robby’s is definitely becoming well-known. If you haven’t checked out Robby’s Famous Cheesecakes yet, do yourself a favor and go get yourself a slice! You won’t want to miss out.
More information is available on the Robby’s Famous Cheesecake website, with in-store hours from noon until midnight every day.
