Kansas State men’s basketball star Nijel Pack is entering the transfer portal, according to ESPN’s Jeff Borzello.

The sophomore guard led the Wildcats in points per game (17.4) en route to first-team all-conference honors.

The announcement comes nine days after Pack declared for the NBA draft.

Pack joins Selton Miguel, Luke Kasubke and Carlton Linguard Jr. on the list of players leaving Manhattan this offseason.

Update:

Pack released a statement on Twitter confirming the decision to enter the transfer portal.

In the statement, Pack said, “K-State will certainly be one of the schools I consider,” meaning Pack could return to Wildcats.
