To find your polling location, visit myvoteinfo.ks.org. The website will display your polling location after you enter your birthday and legal name. Bring your ID to the location on Nov. 8th.

You can find a list of every candidate in the 2022 general election, at the State of Kansas Secretary of State website. Laura Kelley and Derek Schmidt are the candidates running for governor in Kansas.

If you are voting by mail, you must complete an application for an advance ballot and include your driver’s license number or a copy of your photo identification, according to the State of Kansas Secretary of State Website. The deadline to submit advance voting applications to your county election official is Nov. 1.

In Kansas, voters can advance vote in person at county election offices or satellite voting locations up to 20 days before an election. Nov. 7 is the last day Kansas can pre-vote.

Editor’s note: The graphic in our print edition incorrectly stated our data for the poll results came from Twitter and Instagram. Although we did conduct polls on Twitter and Instagram, only our Twitter poll results were reflected in the graphic. We apologize for this error. Additionally, Derek Schmidt’s name was incorrectly “David Schmidt.” This error has been corrected for the online article, and the Collegian apologizes for any confusion this error may have caused.
