K-State lands 3 seed in March Madness

The Kansas State Wildcats were named the No. 3 seed in the East Region of the March Madness tournament. K-State will face off against No. 14 Montana State Bobcats in the first round. The Bobcats finished with a 25-9 record and won the Big Sky Conference title to earn a spot in the tournament.

The two teams will play at 8:40 p.m. on Friday in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Wildcats would face either No. 6 seed Kentucky or No. 11 Providence with a win vs. Montana State.
