Kansas State football cornerback Julius Brents was drafted with the 44th pick of the NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts.
Brents goes into Indianapolis after recording one of the best performances in the NFL Scouting Combine.
In his four years in collegiate play, Brents recorded six interceptions and 111 tackles, with four interceptions and 45 tackles in the 2022 season.
Brents marks the second Wildcat drafted in the 2023 NFL Draft after defensive end Felix Anduike-Uzomah was drafted 31st by the Kansas City Chiefs.
