Brady Day drafted by the Atlanta Braves

The Atlanta Braves drafted Kansas State second baseman Brady Day with the 369th pick in the 12th round of the 2023 MLB Draft.

Day comes off of a 2023 season leading the Wildcats with a staggering .356 batting average. Day also managed to record 26 RBI alongside a .975 fielding efficiency.

Day played two seasons at K-State, starting 23 games in his first season in 2022 and starting 56 games in 2023. 

Day enters an Atlanta farm system ranked worst at 30th by MLB in the preseason. The team holds a league-best 60-29 record.
